Becky Edmunds - filmmaker and project director.
Becky Edmunds is a video artist and documentary film maker. Originally trained as a dancer and choreographer, she worked in live performance until 2000, when she moved into a screen based practice. She has collaborated with a wide range of artists and organisations to create video works, including Rosemary Lee, Station House Opera, Blast Theory, Rajni Shah, Fiona Wright, Caroline Bowditch, Gill Clarke, Independent Dance, Siobhan Davies Studios, Arts Council England and various dance agencies.
In her work, the choreographic concerns of the rhythm, pattern and dynamic flow of movement, are combined with a documentary practice to produce works that are a hybrid of the observed and the constructed. Her short films and installations have been shown at film festivals internationally. She was artist in residence at both Videodanza BA in Argentina and SHOOT Dance for Camera Festival in Sweden. Her feature documentary Turn Your F^*king Head was published by Routledge in 2014.
From 2010 to 2015 Becky worked in collaboration with fellow artist Lucy Cash under the company name of straybird - a platform for co-curated and co-directed projects.
Becky teaches screendance and moving image practice at a range of institutions and is an associate artist with Blast Theory.
Gerard Bell - performer.
Gerard works in conventional and experimental performance in Europe and the UK. In theatre he has worked with Chris Goode, Stan’s Cafe, David Gale, Graeme Miller, A2, Improbable Theatre, Tim Crouch dreamthinkspeak and others.He has also worked at the National Theatre, Sheffield Crucible, Plymouth Theatres,and for National Theatre Wales.
In dance, he has worked with with Athina Vahla, Nic Conibere, Unterwegs Theater, Stacked Wonky and Pina Bausch. He has worked frequently with dance-film and video makers Lucy Cash, Magali Charrier, Shelly Love, and Maria Lloyd. And he has made a series of films and time-based video installations with Adam Roberts.
He collaborates widely and makes his own (solo) work, making pieces for ArtsAdmin, AE Harris in Birmingham and the Siobhan Davies Studios. He made ‘So Below’ with Karen Christopher for Sacred at Chelsea Theatre,and a piece for The Junction at Cambridge, with Ira Brand.
He worked with Grace Schwindt on “Opera and Steel’ for Performatik 2017 at Kaai Theater, (and again in Amsterdam this year); He was part of ‘Landings’ , a site specific dance piece,with Stacked Wonky, along the north Somerset shoreline. He will be working again with Grace Schwindt, Stacked Wonky and Stan’s Cafe.

Scott Smith - sound designer and composer.
Scott Smith is a musician/composer and sound designer with a long background in dance/movement and performance practice. He makes theatre, works in bands, teaches and collaborates with a wide range of practitioners. Originally from Wichita Kansas, he is currently resident in the UK, from where he works internationally as a freelance performer and composer for dance, theatre and video.
